BUCKOES&BLIGHTERS:

APRIL 10, 2009
HOLY COW,
its
HOLY FRIDAY

I really had a hard time sleeping last night. I had a headache that made me feel intense pain. Perhaps, it is because my cerebral arteries dilated or it just the reaction to the drugs that I used. It made me feel so anxious and of course, unhappy. Anyhow, I was still able to sleep but only just for few hours. Thus, it made my illness get worse. Last day, I was just having colds not I got fever too.

But that would not stop my Viernes Santo. I watched the Seven Last Words shown on the television, ABS-CBN of course. After that, I also watched the hit comeback movie of John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, You Changed my Life. For the meantime, I would not show any reactions I had towards the movie. Instead, I will write a movie review. There you will see if I raised my eyebrows or sang them with praises for the job well done. Just watch out for that.
We had our dinner then visited the church in the city proper.
I have never seen the church like that before. Perhaps, it is just because it has been a long time since I have been to the church. It is not because I do not go to church but because I was in Iloilo for three months. Back to the story, the line even reached the school beside the church, the NDTG not the NDTC. I salute the staying power of these people who really waited several minutes or hours for them to be able to get inside the church and see our LORD. I just actually hope that these people do not just go to church every Holy Week but also for the other days of the year. I wish they would attend masses during Sundays and also participate in the other activities of the Church. LADIES and GENTS: The LORD is always there waiting for you with his arms wide open.

After visiting the church, we went to the parish church in our place. visit There we saw some of our family friends who are also member of the Couples for Christ Family Ministry. After having short talks with these people, we went inside the church to see BRO there. I kissed HIM and made a short prayer. I adored HIM for HIS greatness and glory. I asked forgiveness for the sins I have done. I thanked HIM for the blessings HE has showered upon us. Then, I asked that HE would continue to embrace our family with HIS unconditional love.

Then, we went home. We watched MMK Good Friday Special. We felt the call of our bodies to rest. So, we went to bed and had a deep sleep.

MY MAUNDY THURSDAY

FELLAS,
how did you spend
your Maundy Thursday?
Did you have your Last Supper
with your family? HAHA.
Let’s get serious because
this is a serious matter.
It is Holy Week guys,

the Passion Week.
Come on.

I woke up late. It is not strange for me. More often than not, I wake up 9-10 am in the morning if I do not have class. But I got no plans of having my eternal rest now. Good Heavens please. I would hold on to this saying: “ANG MASAMANG DAMO AY MATAGAL MAMATAY.” Oh boy, JUSTIN. What a waste of time. Share now what you did this day.

I had my breakfast and a shower bath. Then, I deck out. I went to Koronadal City with my family and some of my relatives. I just roam around the shopping mall for just few hours like a vagabond without a fixed place. I looked for shirts, jeans and other stuff. YES. I confess. I am a fashion plate. Well, if that is sin then do forgive me my brothers and sisters. PLEASE. After that, when I felt the hunger, I passed by a restaurant and took a meal.

All over again, it is time to eat. We had our midday meal there at the house of my aunt. They prepared lots of foods. Zero Pork = Zero Cholesterol. LOL. Goodness me. What kind of life is this that I am having now? I just ate few minutes ago then here I go again. I am making myself a pig. Do you consider it gluttony? Oh my god. Forgive me.

Good grief. I keep on asking forgiveness for what I have done. Perhaps, you are thinking now that I am a very sinful being. No, I AM NOT. In any way whatsoever, I have made a good deed for this day. I was like a babysitter when we were at the house of my aunt. I took care of my godson because his mom was busy doing the kitchen works. I exchanged thoughts with him. Sometimes, I do have this same level of thinking with a three your old child. I also played with him. I guess I enjoyed more than he did. We even had lunch together. Looks like I am ready now to be a DADDY. Yikes. I am just joking. It should not happen. I do not want to be shot down by my dad and be stamped out by my mom. I LOVE YOU mama and papa.

After having lunch at my aunt’s house, we went back home. It is nice to be back in the place where guns and bombs are just playthings. No. I mean in the City of Goodwill. To those who are having their vacation now, enjoy and have fun. Guys, let us not forget that Semana Santa is not just a time for vacation but also a time for pagnilay-nilay. This message is brought to you by: Brother Justin Morilla. LOL.

I guess I have nothing else to say or maybe my brain cells want to rest. I am not also feeling well. I have colds. So, I will take a rest now. Good Night. Do not forget to say a prayer before you sleep.

Arrivederci Fellas.
